Visiting Vantown

I made a last minute visit to Vancouver to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. It was the fastest and slowest trans-Pacific flight I've ever been on. Being back here has definitely made me face-palm over why I ever left.

The epitome of awkward

I came at just the right time with the fall leaves at full amber. A photo walk with my friend Linda was necessary.

My boyfriend's dogs are the cutest things in the world. I die every time I see them.

We went to the Canucks vs St. Louis game

For Cam's birthday I printed out B&W photos and made this

New self-portrait: Red Riding Hood

After a long hiatus, it definitely feels good to be working on self-portraits and developing my creativity as well as my photography and Photoshop skills. I am also always open for models :) This self-portrait stemmed from an idea of using a red cape which then led to a twist on Little Red Riding Hood. Shout-out to my lovely boyfriend who went and bought the cape for me the day after I briefly mentioned I wanted one and mailed it to me all the way from Vancouver. Also of course big thanks to my little sister who's always my dependable photo assistant. Photo viewable on:

Monkey Mountain

My family and I took a Saturday afternoon to the closest beach to Bangkok, which was about an hour drive away.  Granted it was very polluted and not the nicest beach in Thailand, it was nice to see all the local fishermen and where a lot of the seafood that we eat come from. Near the beach was a famous mountain filled with wild monkeys. And by filled I mean FILLED. You would literally have to dodge them with your car left and right and if your car is parked, expect to find a few sitting on top. It's also better to keep your windows closed since they look like they would give you rabies if bitten.
